Maybe it’s a service loaner?

Luckily that never caught on in my state, except for the license plate bracket. The idea of putting a dealer decal on the body itself is pretty crazy to me.

Is possible but  loaner vehicles I’ve seen are identified as a courtesy vehicle.

I’ve definitely seen service loaners with even more obnoxious THIS IS A SERVICE LOANER FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, YOU SHOULD BUY A CAR HERE TOO AND THEN YOU CAN HAVE A SERVICE LOANER FROM US stickers than this.

But every once in a while I see a car with the dealer logo or other advertising in the back window similar to this, and I certainly hope that nobody would willingly drive a car they paid for off the lot with that crap on it. But then again, with how common ugly dealer tag frames are, most people just don’t care.

There are so many cars around Philly (where the example car above came from) with dealership advertising on them that people have become desensitized to it. I suppose Gordon Chevrolet are aware of this and have decided to pull all the stops to compensate.

It’s unfortunately very common for dealer stickers and/or badges to be stuck on the paint of the car. Whenever this has happened, I’ve always asked the dealership take the car back to the detail bay to remove the offending stickers and/or badges. They’ve all been fine with it.

You should have seen my car when I brought it home. The window sticker was way worse but they all peeled off easy peasy with some patience and warmth from the su n.

I’ve only bought one car new, in Honolulu, they don’t do that. I would make a dealer take it all off or no sale. And it's a Nissan with Chevy all over it!

ew. If I ever buy a car at a dealership, especially a new one removing the dealership branding will be part of the deal.

One time when I was a salesmen I had a customer request that we replace the dealer logo with a black one for his black F-150. I didn’t even ask the manager I just went and did it myself.

I also had a custome request that we removed the 4x4 decals, and sidesteps from his new f-150 because his old truck didn’t have them and he didn’t want his neighbor to notice that he got a new truck. He was replacing a black 2010 F-150 STX 4x2 with 100,000 miles with a 2014 STX 4x4  so it did mostly look like the same truck.

Whenever I buy a car from a dealer, I tell them I’ll refuse delivery with their stickers on it.
